Important things to know
BillGoose is a trading name of Dwellr Group Limited. We provide an online service that helps customers compare, access or progress selected products and services using BillGoose and specialist partners.
Unless we clearly tell you otherwise for a particular service, BillGoose does not supply the underlying product or service. If you choose to proceed, your contract for that product or service will normally be with the relevant provider and its own terms may apply.
These Terms explain the rules for using BillGoose. They do not reduce any rights you have under consumer law. Agreeing to these Terms does not mean you agree to optional marketing or non-essential cookies.
Geographic availability and any service-specific eligibility rules may apply.
How BillGoose works
BillGoose is designed to help you find, compare and progress selected household and related products or services. Depending on the service, we may show information from a panel of providers, send you to a provider or partner journey, or use a specialist partner to provide part of the comparison or switching service.
We do not promise that BillGoose covers every provider or product in the market unless we expressly say so for a particular service. We also do not recommend that a product is right for you unless we clearly state that a recommendation is being provided.
Prices, results, availability and product information may come from providers or specialist partners and can change. A result shown on BillGoose is not a guarantee that the provider will accept you, keep the same price, or make the product available until the provider confirms it.
Where a partner operates its own part of the journey, its terms and privacy information may also apply. BillGoose will aim to make the hand-off clear.
What we need from you
To help BillGoose and our partners provide accurate results and progress your request, you must:
If information is inaccurate or incomplete, the results or provider decision may also be inaccurate and the provider may be unable to complete the service.
When you choose a product or service
The point at which you enter into a contract for an underlying product or service depends on the route you use. Unless we clearly say otherwise, that contract is with the relevant provider, not Dwellr Group Limited or BillGoose.
The provider is normally responsible for supplying the product or service, confirming acceptance, taking any payment or Direct Debit information that forms part of its process, and dealing with cancellation, cooling-off, service delivery and provider complaints under its own terms and applicable law.
Saved journeys and using BillGoose safely
Where BillGoose allows you to save or resume a journey, we may send a secure link such as a Magic Link. Treat it like a password: do not share it and tell us if you think somebody else has access to it. Saved journeys and links may expire or be disabled if we reasonably believe they are compromised.
You must not misuse BillGoose. In particular, you must not try to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with security controls, commit or facilitate fraud, or use scraping or bots to extract BillGoose or provider content for an unauthorised commercial or abusive purpose.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of misuse, fraud, a security risk, legal or regulatory requirements, or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will try to tell you if this materially affects an active customer journey.
Communications, privacy and cookies
We may send, or arrange for a partner to send, messages needed to provide or support a service you asked for. These can include welcome or post-purchase messages, journey-recovery or Magic Link messages, support or account messages and review invitations.
We may invite you to leave feedback through a specialist review service such as Feefo. Leaving a review is optional. If you choose to submit a review, the review service's own terms and privacy information may also apply.
Optional marketing is separate from service messages. Agreeing to these Terms does not give BillGoose permission to send optional marketing or use non-essential cookies where a separate choice is required.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Dwellr Group Limited and relevant BillGoose partners use personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on BillGoose and the choices available to you. A partner that is responsible for its own part of a service may also provide its own privacy information.
How BillGoose makes money
BillGoose may receive commission, referral fees or other commercial payments when customers click through, apply, switch or purchase through services available on BillGoose. We will explain the relevant commercial model clearly where it matters to the customer.
We may use specialist affiliate or referral networks to record that a click or completed transaction came through BillGoose. This helps us reconcile referrals and commission and does not change who supplies the underlying product or service.
We will not describe a comparison as whole-of-market, independent or impartial unless that description is accurate for the service concerned.
Availability and changes
BillGoose relies on technology, networks and third-party services. We aim to keep the service available and information accurate, but we cannot promise that every feature, provider, price or partner service will always be available or error-free.
We may change, add, suspend or remove parts of BillGoose where reasonably necessary, for example because a partner changes its service, a product is withdrawn, there is a security issue, or the way BillGoose operates changes. If a change materially affects an ongoing customer service, we will take reasonable steps to explain it where appropriate.
Complaints and support
If your concern is about BillGoose itself, please contact us and we will try to resolve it fairly and promptly. If the issue is about an underlying product or service, the relevant provider will normally be responsible for dealing with it under its own complaints process.
If your complaint is about how personal information has been handled, our Privacy Policy explains the privacy complaints route and your right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, Dwellr Group Limited is responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill in providing BillGoose. Dwellr Group Limited is not responsible for business losses to the extent the law allows.
Other legal terms
BillGoose branding, website content, software and design are owned by Dwellr Group Limited or used with permission. You may use BillGoose content for your own personal use in connection with the service, but must not copy, republish, sell, license or commercially exploit it without permission except where the law allows. Provider and partner names, logos and content remain the property of their owners.
We may update these Terms when BillGoose, a partner or service, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on billgoose.com with the date it applies from. Where a change is material to an ongoing service or customer relationship, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention where appropriate.
If one part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. Unless these Terms expressly say otherwise, they do not give rights to anyone other than you and Dwellr Group Limited under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
